This accessibility statement applies to the website published at www.ideal.de.

We, Krug + Priester GmbH & Co. KG, strive to make our website accessible in accordance with national regulations implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Non-accessible content:

Keyboard usability:

  • The main navigation menu is not fully accessible via keyboard
  • Some interactive elements have no visible focus indicator

Form accessibility:

  • Contact forms sometimes have missing or insufficient labels
  • Error messages are not correctly transmitted to screen readers

Contrast and visual representation:

  • Certain text areas do not achieve the required contrast ratio of 4.5:1
  • Links are sometimes only marked by color

Alternative texts and non-text content:

  • Some informative images have insufficient or missing alternative texts
  • Decorative graphics are not correctly labeled as such

Structural HTML semantics:

  • Heading hierarchies are not logically structured in places
  • Some page areas have insufficient landmark structure

Mobile accessibility:

  • Touch targets sometimes do not reach the minimum size of 44x44 pixels
  • Zoom functionality is limited in some areas

Additionally:

  • Some PDF documents are not accessible
  • Embedded videos do not contain subtitles or audio descriptions

This declaration was created on June 26, 2025. The assessment of compliance was conducted through a self-assessment based on the BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 guidelines (Level AA). The assessment included both automated tests and manual checks of keyboard usability and screen reader compatibility.
