Outstanding team spirit at the 10th Balingen company run

Runners in the Balingen company run set off at 7 p.m. on 27th June 2019, with this year marking the 10th anniversary of the event. Our K+P team once again took part this year. With 27 runners, our team was larger than ever before.

All participants once again received great new running t-shirts featuring the motto "K+P läuft seit 51" ("K+P has been running since 51"). The challenge that lay ahead of them was a varied 5.9 km route through the town centre. This was no mean feat, with hot temperatures above 30 °C making everyone break a sweat. But our highly motivated runners gave it their all and reached the finish line exhausted but happy. They were encouraged and cheered loudly along the whole route by throngs of supporters. Crossing the line in an impressive 23 minutes and 11 seconds, Michael Müller was not only the fastest runner in the K+P team but also managed to secure 76th place out of 2000 competitors. No matter the results, it was a fantastic experience for all and a good team-building event with an incredible atmosphere. Perhaps next time we'll manage to convince even more K+P employees to join in. This year's K+P team of runners is already looking forward to 2020, when they will take to the start line again, awaiting their instructions of "On your marks, get set, go!".
