The high volume machine IDEAL 5009 was especially designed for shredding of big quantities of paper. With its two motors of a total capacity of 9 kW, it is a real power package. It comes with a very robust cutting mechanism, which is made of special hardened steel and which easily swallows complete files including their metal bindings also during permanent operation. 600 to 700 sheets of paper (70 g/m2) are shredded at once and within seconds. The business magazine FACTS tested the giant in its latest edition in a very detailed way and rated it accordingly. To the most important rating criteria belonged refinement, productivity, safety and handling.
